Amanda and Bryan have been First Direct customers ever since the inaugural black and white TV advert prompted them to join many, many moons ago. They’ve banked with them personally ever since and have indeed been happy with their experience.
At Yellow Yoyo we believe them to be the best of the UK banking brands and extol their virtues at any chance we get. It was therefore somewhat of a surprise to hear that they’d been surpassed in the latest KPMG Nunwood’s UK Customer Experience Excellence survey for 2015 (Marketing week) by Lush, who had climbed three positions to claim the top spot, leaving First Direct and John Lewis (another of our favourite brands) in second and third place respectively.
All three companies cite their edge as the specialist information they provide for their customers, combined with their deep understanding of customers’ changing needs.
