Dr Chloe Sharp has a PhD in sociology and psychology and for more than 15 years has helped businesses prove market demand and win multiple bids and tenders.
She wanted to refine her business’ offer and build a brand identity representative of its future direction.
Setting the scene…
Over the last four years Chloe has built Sharp Insight into a well-respected consultancy and training organisation, known for its rigour, insight and effectiveness in helping to bring products to market through research, training and expertise in grant funding. This work culminated in the publication of her book ‘Make Products That Matter’ in 2022.
The decision for Simon – Chloe’s husband – to leave his successful career at Mercedes Benz, marked the start of a new partnership, focused on growing Sharp Insight together.
With this shift came the need for greater clarity about their joint offer and how to communicate it, and a brand identity that reflected their shared ambition for the future.
Our Approach
We proposed a tailored version of our Becoming Irresistible Programme, designed to help ambitious teams gain clarity and stand out with purpose. For Sharp Insight this included
- a Value Proposition workshop,
- positioning and messaging development,
- a refreshed contemporary brand identity.
Our first step was to understand the business from the inside. We explored their strengths, the beliefs that guide their work, the problems they solve and the type of organisations they most want to support. Through this process it became clear that their true expertise lies in helping impact driven companies validate products, de-risk product decisions, turn complex ideas into clear and fundable business cases and evaluate social impact. These are the things that matter most for funding and sustainable growth.
This clarity became the foundation for the messaging and the identity.

We delivered a focused mix of strategic and creative work to align the business around its future direction. This included
- a clear and distinctive value proposition that reflects what makes Sharp Insight unique,
- refined positioning language and messaging that expresses their purpose with confidence,
- a new market facing description,
- a contemporary brand identity and logo that capture their precision, partnership and energy, and reflect who they are today and the business they are building for the future,
- brand assets and guidance to help them communicate consistently and professionally.
Together these elements gave Sharp Insight a focused offer, a clear market position and a visual identity aligned with their sustainable growth ambitions.

Sharp Insight now communicates with clarity, focus and confidence. As a result
- they have a distinct and differentiated offer that clearly expresses the value they bring,
- their messaging is sharper and easier to share with clients, funders and collaborators,
- Chloe and Simon’s combined strengths are reflected in both their positioning and identity,
- they have stronger foundations for conversations about product validation, impact evaluation and funding,
- the new identity gives them a polished, cohesive and professional presence aligned with their ambitions.


We worked with Yellowyoyo over the summer on a value proposition workshop, messaging and logo redesign, and it was such a positive experience. From the start, they really took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve.
What I loved most was how collaborative they were. They genuinely listened to our ideas and somehow managed to translate them into a well executed visual.
The logo they created for Sharp Insight is exactly what we were hoping for. It captures who we are perfectly, and we have been so pleased with it. The workshop process was really valuable too, it gave us a solid framework to clarify and document our thinking, which we still refer back to. Plus, the final brand assets they delivered have given us that polished and cohesive look we needed.
